Post Attack - A politician's role and responsibility

When Mumbai was burning, we all took part in praying and hoping that we win this battle against the attack. And WE DID..And then we organised a peace march. Now comes the time for action. Can we all mumbaikars take a common stance towards what needs to done for the city and then each group takes it and implements it till the end?

I have another question, we vote for a party but then, did we select the person who runs the state or the country. Why not? Why doesnt the politician have a set of roles and responsibilities like all of us? He/ she is answerable to us in the end. Why cant he give us account for his activities? Can the party give us a reason as to why Ashok Chavan has selected and not others?

Everybody should be accountable. It seems today something wrong happens, the existing person resigns and a new person is elected. Will changing a person solve the problem? Give us account of what the CM has done during his stint. What are his achievements? From the current CM i as a Mumbaikar would like to know what is his action plan? And at the end of the year, would like to know what he has achieved and not. Want to know the details of the amount being spent where and how? Oh i have a huge list of questions. Hopefully we can start off somewhere and start this change that we want to bring about in Mumbai and only we can bring about it..
